Job Description

We are hiring a Business Development Executive – Freight Forwarding & Shipping for a leading shipping company. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced sales professionals looking to grow their careers in logistics and maritime business development, including those exploring business development executive jobs, freight forwarding sales jobs, and shipping industry commercial careers.

The role involves driving business growth, managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting sales and commercial activities within the freight forwarding and shipping sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities within freight forwarding and shipping operations
Manage client relationships and support key account management activities
Drive sales growth through customer acquisition and business expansion initiatives
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics and shipping services
Prepare sales proposals, business presentations, and commercial reports
Conduct market research and identify emerging business opportunities
Maintain regular follow-ups with clients and support long-term relationship building
Support revenue growth and achievement of commercial targets

Requirements:

Minimum 4–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management
Freight Forwarding industry background is mandatory
Strong understanding of shipping, logistics, and freight forwarding operations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
Strong commercial acumen and business development mindset
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment
