Job Description


We are hiring a Senior Executive – Customs Clearance for a leading logistics company. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking Customs Clearance jobs, Senior Executive logistics careers, air and sea customs operations roles, and freight forwarding customs clearance jobs.

The role involves handling customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, coordinating with CHA agents, managing documentation and compliance activities, and ensuring smooth customs operations across air and sea cargo shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customs clearance activities for air and sea import/export shipments
  • Manage EDI filing, ICEGATE processing, and customs documentation procedures
  • Coordinate with CHA agents, shipping lines, airlines, and port/airport authorities
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT procedures, and trade documentation requirements
  • Process Advance Authorization, EPCG, MEIS, and RODTEP-related documentation and coordination
  • Monitor shipment clearance status and resolve customs-related operational issues
  • Prepare MIS reports, shipment updates, and customs operational records
  • Coordinate with internal logistics, operations, and customer service teams for smooth shipment execution
  • Maintain accuracy and compliance in all customs and regulatory documentation processes

Requirements:

  • Any Graduate
  • 4–5 years of experience in customs clearance operations for air and sea cargo
  • Proficiency in ICEGATE, EDI filing, and customs online platforms
  • Familiarity with DGFT procedures including Advance Authorization, EPCG, MEIS, and RODTEP
  • Hands-on experience in CHA coordination and port/airport operations
  • Strong knowledge of customs documentation and import/export compliance processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook with MIS reporting capabilities
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
