Check Your NRE / Non-Resident Days
Enter each sea voyage from Sign On → Sign Off. We count your NRE days outside India (CDC Rule 126 / passport rules) and check whether you meet the Non-Resident target for the financial year.

Your Voyages (Outside India)
For each contract, choose whether the port was Inside India or Outside India. Inside → CDC date. Outside → passport stamp. Order is always Sign On first, then Sign Off.
Note: Our calculator excludes the date of sign-on and sign-off from sea time calculations. Officers may add 1 day per contract to arrive at their precise total. Always verify your sea time against your CDC before applying to MMD.
How it works
1. NRE days = days between Sign On and Sign Off (both dates excluded).
2. Sign-on and sign-off dates themselves are not counted (e.g. 1st → 10th = 8 days).
3. Days are split across financial years (1 Apr – 31 Mar).
4. Meet the FY outside-day target to stay Non-Resident (< 182 days in India).
5. Voyages across FY boundaries are split automatically.
6. Overlapping voyages are blocked so days aren't double-counted.
Your Status
