Mr. Arjun Singh Sekhon

  • Arjun Singh Sekhon is a highly motivated Student Recruitment Officer at MLA College.
  • Before joining MLA, Arjun honed his business acumen in various roles, including developing go-to-market strategies for AI solutions at Zappi and being a Project Consultant at Finastra and Chirp. 
  • He also holds an MSc in International Management from King’s College London and a BA in History and Philosophy from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, bringing a well-rounded perspective to student recruitment. 
  • Arjun enjoys exploring new landscapes through jogging and hiking.



Alina Prylipko
Sustainable Maritime Operations Programme Manager, MLA College,

Alina Prylipko

Senior Lecturer

Alina holds an LLM in International Law and an MSc in Maritime Education and Training. She is currently enrolled in a PhD program at the World Maritime University (Malmö, Sweden). Her expertise lies in the areas of international maritime law, maritime labour and social governance, and sustainable maritime development. Alina’s current research is dedicated to the social pillar of sustainable development, stakeholders’ relationships, and the role of seafarers in transitioning towards a more sustainable shipping industry.

 

She has previously worked with both cadet education and postgraduate programmes and has extensive teaching experience, including practical experience in assisting students in developing their academic and research skills.

 

Alina is proudly Ukrainian, and her professional career includes positions in key maritime governmental agencies, such as the Maritime Administration of Ukraine. She has also been involved in consultancy on legal, environmental, and social issues related to various aspects of sustainable development.

 

Alina is a working mother, and her husband is an ex-seafarer, which allows her to appreciate the wider social context of a maritime career and lifestyle, as well as the challenges faced by students in professional education.”
