Uttam Kumar is Director of Product Management with Alpha Ori Technologies (a leading Marine-Tech Company). Alpha Ori Technology is backed by leading shipping companies including BW Group, Synergy etc.
For the past 4 years, Uttam has been leading SmartShip product development, predictive maintenance solution and other digital initiatives for the company’s global clients. Uttam has 10+ years of high impact work experience in both product and project management and enabling clients to achieve business excellence using data analytics, artificial intelligence and digital technology.
Uttam is an ex-marine engineer, has earned an MBA from North Carolina State University, USA and a marine engineering (BE) degree from the Directorate of Marine Engineer & Technology (DMET) in Kolkata, India.
Capt. Gaurav Rana is a IIM-A MBA passout and has worked in IBM for 4 years. He has undertaken digital transformation projects for JM Baxi and managed analytics projects for Adani while working at IBM.
He understands the digital transformation journey that companies or individuals have to go through and can support companies or candidates to unveil their journey in the best possible manner.
The training would consist of the following:

Founder, Sea and Beyond,Capt. Gaurav is the founder of Sea and Beyond which helps mariners transition ashore. He has assisted more than 100+ mariners in the career progression. Through his company, Sea and Beyond, we have been able to assist maritime professionals by
a) Building awareness of various fields where a mariner could go
b) Understanding best fields for them through psychometry test
c) Counselling to get into a field
d) Upskilling through various courses with the network of colleges partnered with
e) Facilitating placement ashore through the network of 250+ companies partnered with Sea and Beyond.

- Completed MBA from IIM- Ahmedabad
