Capt. Ashok Srinivasan is a highly respected maritime professional with deep operational, technical and regulatory experience, currently serving as Regional Manager & Technical Advisor at BIMCO, Singapore, where he represents shipowners and industry stakeholders on key global maritime matters.
He brings more than two decades of seafaring, technical and regulatory leadership to his work at BIMCO, where he advises on maritime operations, safety and international regulation. Hecompleted his MBA from Copenhagen Business School in 2018 and has been with BIMCO since than. He is also Chairman advisory committee at IACS. His experience reflects a deep commitment to elevating competency and standards across the industry. A frequent speaker on maritime safety, skill development and operational excellence, Capt. Srinivasan’s insights are particularly valuable in conversations about building resilient, future-ready workforces that can meet the evolving demands of global shipping.
The webinar would consist of the following:

Regional Manager & Technical Advisor at BIMCO, Singapore,- Over 20 years of maritime experience in seafaring, technical management, and regulatory leadership.
- Currently serves at BIMCO, advising on maritime operations, safety, and international regulations.
- Completed an MBA from Copenhagen Business School in 2018.
- Has been associated with BIMCO since 2018.
- Chairman of the Advisory Committee at IACS (International Association of Classification Societies).
- Passionate about enhancing competency, safety, and industry standards across the global maritime sector.
- A frequent speaker on maritime safety, skill development, operational excellence, and regulatory developments.
- Recognized for his insights on building resilient, future-ready maritime workforces to meet the evolving demands of global shipping.
