Job Description


We are hiring a Key Account Sales Executive – Shipping & Logistics for a leading shipping company. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking Key Account Sales jobs, shipping sales careers, logistics sales roles, and freight forwarding business development positions.

The role involves managing key customer accounts, driving sales growth, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key customer accounts within the shipping and logistics business
  • Drive sales growth through acquisition of new clients and retention of existing accounts
  • Coordinate with operations, documentation, and customer service teams for smooth shipment execution
  • Understand client requirements and provide suitable shipping and logistics solutions
  • Prepare quotations, pricing coordination, and follow-up on business opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with shippers, consignees, freight forwarders, and trade partners
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
  • Prepare sales reports, MIS updates, and performance tracking reports
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales
  • Minimum graduate qualification in any discipline
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding sales preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage key accounts and build long-term customer relationships
  • Good coordination and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting preferred
