Job Description


We are hiring a Section Incharge – Environment & Port Compliances for a leading Ports & Infrastructure Company. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to oversee statutory compliance, environmental regulations, contract governance, and stakeholder management while ensuring smooth and compliant port operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable central, state, maritime, environmental, customs, and port regulations
  • Liaise with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and port stakeholders to obtain statutory approvals, licenses, and permits
  • Administer concession agreements, lease agreements, commercial contracts, and ensure contractual compliance
  • Develop and manage port tariffs, service agreements, commercial proposals, and revenue realization processes
  • Coordinate inspections, audits, and compliance reporting with Customs, Pollution Control Board, Maritime Board, and other statutory bodies
  • Identify statutory, operational, and commercial risks while implementing effective governance and mitigation measures
  • Support business development, infrastructure projects, and commercial evaluations by providing regulatory and compliance inputs
  • Monitor changes in regulations and ensure timely implementation of compliance requirements across port operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Ports, Shipping, Logistics, Infrastructure, or Industrial Operations
  • Strong knowledge of Customs procedures, environmental regulations, port statutory compliance, and commercial contracts
  • Experience working with government authorities, regulatory agencies, and statutory bodies
  • Strong understanding of concession agreements, contract management, and commercial governance
  • Experience in risk management, compliance audits, and regulatory reporting
