Job Description


We are hiring an Offshore Operations Manager for a leading Offshore Shipping Company based in Dubai, UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced maritime professionals to oversee offshore vessel operations, manage fleet performance, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of offshore projects involving AHTS and DP vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the offshore fleet, including vessel scheduling, mobilization, and offshore assignments.
  • Plan and coordinate anchor handling, towing, and offshore support operations while ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, inventories, and operational reports to optimize fleet performance.
  • Coordinate vessel maintenance, repairs, defects, and operational readiness with Technical Managers.
  • Liaise with Masters, Chief Engineers, charterers, agents, vendors, and port authorities to ensure seamless vessel operations.
  • Coordinate port calls, bunkering, crew changes, provisions, spare parts, and related operational expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, company procedures, charter party requirements, and safety standards.
  • Support emergency response, incident management, corrective actions, and monitor weather, voyage planning, and offshore operational risks.

Requirements:

  • Chief Mate Certificate of Competency (COC) preferred; Master Mariner COC will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science, Marine Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of shore-based experience in offshore vessel operations.
  • Experience with AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) vessels, anchor handling, or towing operations is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to DP (Dynamic Positioning) vessel operations will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore vessel operations, navigation, and marine operational practices.
  • Proficiency in vessel management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
