Job Description


We are hiring for a Fabrication Incharge position for a professional with a Mechanical Engineering background and experience in fabrication, EPC, offshore, or related engineering projects. The role involves overseeing fabrication activities at the yard and ensuring execution is carried out in accordance with approved designs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day fabrication activities at the yard.
  • Ensure fabrication work is carried out according to approved drawings, designs, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project, QA/QC, and yard teams.
  • Monitor fabrication progress and identify potential delays or issues.
  • Ensure proper execution of structural and mechanical fabrication activities.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and fabrication requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and fabrication teams.
  • Monitor workmanship, materials, and fabrication processes.
  • Identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Support inspection and quality-control activities.
  • Prepare and maintain fabrication progress reports and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and project requirements.
  • Travel to fabrication yards or project locations when required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in fabrication, EPC, offshore, engineering, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes and engineering drawings.
  • Experience working at fabrication yards or project sites preferred.
  • Ability to supervise contractors and fabrication teams.
  • Good understanding of quality and project requirements.
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and reporting abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project activities.
