Job Description


We are hiring an HR Officer for a leading Shipping Company. This is an excellent opportunity for HR professionals to manage recruitment, employee relations, HR analytics, policy implementation, and HR operations while partnering with both local and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition for multiple business functions
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, ATS management, and employer branding initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies in compliance with Indian labour laws
  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, performance, and absence management
  • Prepare HR analytics, dashboards, reports, and presentations while coordinating with UK HR teams
  • Support HR audits, compliance activities, and maintain accurate employee records
  • Advise managers on HR policies, processes, and people-related matters
  • Drive HR process improvements, stakeholder engagement, and HR operational excellence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations (approximately 30–40% recruitment and 60–70% HR generalist responsibilities)
  • Strong HR analytics, data presentation, and reporting skills
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of Indian labour laws and HR compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong influencing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience coordinating with international stakeholders, particularly UK teams, will be an advantage
