Job Description

We are hiring a Vessel Manager for leading ship management operations. This is a critical role for experienced Chief Engineers seeking shore-based vessel management careers, technical superintendent positions, and shipping fleet operations leadership. We are prioritizing candidates with proven experience on PCC (Pure Car Carriers), specifically those with dual-fuel engine expertise, while candidates with container and bulk carrier experience are also welcome.

The role involves end-to-end technical management, operational budgeting, maintenance oversight, and ensuring fleet readiness for global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical performance and operational efficiency of assigned dry ship fleet (PCC, Containers, Bulk Carriers).
  • Manage dual-fuel engine operations and maintenance, ensuring high technical standards and reliability.
  • Supervise planned maintenance systems (PMS), dry-docking, and major repair projects.
  • Ensure strict compliance with IMO, Class, Flag State, and company regulations.
  • Coordinate budgeting, procurement of spares, and technical logistics to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for vessel masters, chief engineers, and shore management.
  • Lead technical audits, inspections, and vetting preparations to maintain high fleet standards.
  • Proactively manage technical risks and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • MEO Class I Chief Engineer or equivalent technical maritime qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Vessel Manager or Technical Superintendent on PCC, Container, or Bulk Carrier fleets.
  • Dual-fuel engine expertise is highly preferred; deep technical understanding required.
  • Immediate availability is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of dry-docking management, shipboard maintenance, and technical budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

Join a dynamic ship management team committed to technical excellence and modern fleet operations. This role offers an opportunity to leverage advanced technical skills in dual-fuel engine management and fleet optimization. Ideal for senior officers looking for a strategic shore-based transition with a focus on long-term career stability.
