Job Description


We are hiring Crew Operations Executive for leading ship management company specializing in vessel crew management. This is an excellent opportunity for maritime professionals seeking crew operations jobs, shipping crewing roles, DG Shipping compliance careers, STCW/MLC crew management positions, and marine personnel planning jobs with Indian national crew focus.

 

The role involves comprehensive crew personnel management, travel coordination, documentation verification, payroll support, and compliance oversight working closely with Fleet Personnel Manager and HSEQ teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vessel and crew safety as top priority while supporting full scope of crew personnel matters
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, visas, accommodations) with Masters, agents, and crewing companies
  • Verify crew qualifications, licenses, visas, work permits, flag state certificates, and DG Shipping requirements
  • Prepare Crew SEA & Project Employment Agreements and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage crew appraisals, profiles in Crew Management Software, and monthly payroll processing
  • Track medical P&I cases, invoices, and correspondence with P&I Clubs
  • Maintain accurate documentation filing and issue Sea Time confirmation letters
  • Support statutory, STCW, MLC compliance and crew cost budget management

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years shore-based experience in crew operations/ship management (Indian crew preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of DG Shipping, STCW 95, MLC 2006 international regulations
  • Proven experience with Indian national crew management and budget control
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and customer responsiveness
  • Proficiency in Crew Management Software and documentation systems
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with high efficiency
